I have no clues at all ... I have over 100 friends online right now and I think about 800-1000 ... ballpark wise.

They used to have an obviously bogus counter displayed but they removed it a while back. My guess is 500-1000 logged in at any given time and actually making comments, stories or questions. Members including inactive drop-outs, probably in the tens of thousands. You could check with their ad dept for better numbers.

Of course not everyone is active and not everyone is online at the same time... however there are several groups with more than 50,000 members.
