None, not even my beloved husband or myself. People can change in an instant, a small stroke, a head injury. Trust is not for human beings (to err is human, to forgive--divine). I think trust is a failed attempt to feel safe in a not-safe world, and the best way to approach things is to assume, no matter what happens or why, that it has happened for our own highest good and the good of all those around us. Better to develop a trust in universal goodness from a much higher perspective. I do not think trust is necessary in life, but flexibility and resourcefulness are more important. People will be people and will sometimes let us down, and they will blame us for their perceptual errors ... Better to expect little and be surprised than to live a fairy tale. Because I am this way, I get tears of gratitude for unexpected kindnesses.

Yw. I have struggled with this issue a long time. There have been several incredible questions in here tonight that have allowed me to peek at my own spiritual and psychological progress, and thanks goes to those questioners.Like (1)

... I don't trust anyone completely... There's always going to be one thing they do... But I trust my oldest friend the most, because she's always been there for me no matter what.

I trust a couple of people I have met. I just KNOW....and it isn't just the religious thing they are each into, (different religions). It's the fact that both of them would go the distance for me...and for anyone.

She does, you might try a new avatar pic 100 X 100 pixels so it doesn't cover up the words in your replies but I figured out what you said :)Like (1)

My husband...He has proved over and over that he is trust worthy, for he Loves the Lord and puts him first...
