How much do you pay for a packet of Cigarettes?

Australia is talking of putting a minimum price of $20.00

PER packet!.....What are your thoughts?

Hey pal I pay 3.46 but I heard in Melbourne australia that name brand cigarettes were 13.50 a pack- Now thats ridiculous

unicorn59	Posted Jul 4th, 2009 at 5:22PM I don't smoke...never have...never will...but, in the midwest, USA, where I live....a pack of cigarettes goes for about 5$ ....a box of them, for almost 30$. I can think of a heck of a lot better things to spend my money on. Rated: +1Vote for this!

However I would like to say a hearty "Thank You" to smokers for not only shouldering my burden, but sacrificing your health and possibly your lives to do it. (And if I just enraged one smoker somewhere enough for them to finally quit, my work here is done.) Rated: +1Vote for this!
