my phone has a tip calculater set for %15 but sometimes I dont tip at all, other times I tip more than that.

In an expensive restaurant 20%, in a cheap place where I know the staff doesn't make much, usually closer to 40%.

Almost always more than 15% and usually closer to 20%. We often share meals so I like to tip based on what we would have spent had we ordered a couple of regular entres.

%20 is the least. Delivery guys/gals get more, I was in their shoes back in the day, and I remember being scared of getting mugged every night.
