$400 for our last pup, with the ashes returned in a wooden display box. My wife says it depends on the crematorium, size of the pet, your location.

Best Answer

Oh, my wife also says it depends on "private" (your pet alone, you get the ashes back) or "bulk" (a number of pets together, either no ashes back or a mix of ashes of your pet and other people's pets). We've always have the "private" for our dogs and gotten the ashes back.

My vet charged me $20

What kinda animal?

Best Answer

Well, it was just a little rat. But it was also (i think) because she had been my vet for 15 years and she just put him in with the others being cremated that week. It costs more, if you want the ashes back, because they have to cremate the animal separately.
