# How much would you say 100g of cooked pasta looks like? Is it a palm full? A hand full? Half a bowl? Or a whole bowl?

I want to know what 100g of cooked pasta (40g uncooked) looks like on your plate really. Would a palm full of pasta be 50g cooked or 100g cooked or something like that? I have no idea...

Hi Lilian, i just tried it, it's a big fistfull of uncooked pasta.....take or leave a few gramms....Do you know how you can check if pasta's cooked "all dente"? Take a few strings, and throw it against the wall!! If it sticks, its all dente...or time to wash your walls...lol

That fist full of uncooked, was that 40g?
Because 40g uncooked is about 100g cooked.

1/4 cup = 57g

Sorry, I'm an American. We don't do the metric system.

a palm full should be 100G.
Thank you. I thought it might be around that.

And thanks for the other comment too.

grams are so small... not much

Ernie's right, usually the package tells you the amount which is one serving so you can figure it out from that. I don't know my metrics but I'm guessing a hand full is about the same as a cup of cooked pasta.

Me either. I'd look at the pasta box and see if it lists how many grams are in the entire box, then divide
