I always apologize.....profusely, no matter how small my misdeed was. People often don't get that I'm sincerely sorry, which makes it all the worse, and then they think I'm faking my guilt because I apologize so much for whatever I've done. Word of advice: Don't do things you will have to apologize for later!

Apologizing is not a weakness! You don't have to grovel, but you can show you care about yourself, and others by apologizing. It shows that you are able to acknowledge your flaws. It's a strength.
