How often do you pray?

Do you talk to God like He is a friend of yours, or do you talk to Him with a fear or respect or use different types of words that you normally wouldn't use in a day-to-day basis?

Prayer for me is no longer a formal act. It is a constant state of being. I give thanks and gratitude every day. When fears or conflicts arise, I ask for guidance and wisdom. By living my life in this way I have learned that the answers I am seeking always appear before too long.

I have felt a presence, a comfort many times in my life and this continues to become more apparent as time goes on.

Is this comfort God? I choose to think so. I choose to think that there are spiritual beings around us to help us and guide us through our lives.

The Bible says that God loves us more than our own fathers ever can. That His love is never ending. Living my life with gratitude and forgiveness and lack of judging others is the right path for me. I am not perfect but I always try to show love and kindness. When I fail I ask to gain knowledge so that I can do better.

This is how I pray. Every day of my life.

He is always with me. I constantly give thanks and praise for all he does, not only in my life, but in the lives of others, including complete strangers. I beg for mercy and forgiveness for ALL of mankind throughout the day, always remembering to give thanks and praise. I pray for Angels and thank Him for them. I pray for guidance, patience, protection, humbleness, forgiveness, compassion, the ability to help others, and understanding. I pray for myself and my family and loved ones. ladeemahogany	Posted Sep 20th, 2009 at 8:23PM There's nothing to fear when it comes to God. If He loves me the way the bible says, then I will pray and talk to God as if He is my very best friend. I don't get raunchy or use foul language or anything. I actually talk to Him the way that I would talk to my dad. I pray every chance I get. It's not always a formal prayer but I will praise Him just by saying thank you for getting me from one place to another or by asking Him to help me find something around the house. Especially when I'm driving, He's kept me out of so many accidents, even when it could have been my fault. The first thing I do is thank Him for giving me another day of life. I talk to Him about everything, He's the only one that understands whats in my mind and heart and I don't even have to say it out loud. Rated: +1Vote for this!
pukirahe	Posted Sep 20th, 2009 at 11:51PM I pray all the time. In the beginning I observe some special moments to say the revealed prayers. Then I am so thankful to God that I cannot wait for the fixed times of prayer. Now, I realize that I cannot live without a prayerful attitude. I am praying continuously while answering your question.
