I'm coming in at 264 lbs. as of last week. I weigh myself about once a month. The rest of the time I just eat like I know I'm supposed to and go to the gym. I've lost about 100 lbs. at this point. Taking 2000 mg. of L-carnitine on an empty stomach and immediately getting on the treadmill and walking for an hour (heartrate at 120, no more than that), helps a lot.
