Depends on how old at the time--teens should only be about 2 years apart-in your 20's I'd say maybe 5 years--after that it doesn't matter much.

In highschool you should stick with highschoolers... in college, you should stick with college age persons, once you have determined your own life path and are well on your way, then you can let those circumstances take you where they will.

I Think That Age Is Just A Number And Shouldn't Matter Too Much In A Relationship. I Think What Matters Is Maturity. Like I Know I Could Handle A Relationship With Someone Who's Nineteen I Wouldn't Do It Because Is Against The Law But I Know I Could Handle It. And Then Theirs The People Who Are Like 20 And Dating People Who Are Older But They Don't Handle It Properly. So Age Should Matter Too Much.

as long as youre both legal, mature enough to know the good and bad of relationships, deal with them and compromise, no age is necessary.

as long as you're both grownups, it shouldn't matter.

I prefer either 3 year over or 3 years younger. I wouldn't go beyond that and feel comfortable. My friend did it and the person he's with is 15 yrs older and all he does is work and watch tv whereas my friend is missing out on going out and having fun. I don't want a future like that with someone. I want to go to casinos with my man and collect like i did last night with my girl.

under 16s shouldnt date someone more than 2 years apart, 17-25 it increases to 5 years, 25+ about 10 years is maximum

I'm only one opinion but I suppose 20 years migth be the maximum, but not more than 4 typically seems to be the rule of thumb.
