I had just turned 15. Worked in a paint warehouse mixing paints for contractors.

Not including paper routes, it was 16 at an ice cream shop.

My first real job was when I was 13 and i got a paper route, back in 1976. It taught me a ton of things - that I had to get up early in the morning, as no one will do the route for me. I had to collect money from customers, and some moved out and left me paying the monthly bill, as paper boys back had their commissions reversed if a deadbeat took off without paying. I also learned that some lonely older women liked 13 year old paper boys!
