I try to forgive right away and think about what I would've done or felt in the person's situation, but sometimes I struggle in doing that.

someone i valued deeply who transgressed but came voluntarily to me...it's likely over at that moment. otherwise, I'm not the forgiving type for wanton, malicious acts. i just don't dwell.
