A smart dog who had been trapped with other pets inside a vehicle for several days could no longer wait for help, and notified police himself – by honking the horn.

Smart, but a real smart dog would have just pressed "on-star" the first day.

That was in London ontario...The owners were charged with a variety of animal related offenses. The dog was pretty smart to honk for help.

You think he'd just open the door and jump out then...unless it was a Chevy, then he'd need opposing thumbs, in that case driving to the police station and honking the horn was very smart :)
