you could try some good green catnip or give her a little tuna before and during and after.

Maybe rubbing there favorite treats or something with her scent in the stocking laying down on floor of course so it might no be so strange no garintee but worth a try

give the cat some catnip she'll then go crazy for a bit then be exhausted and calm.

I worked for a vet & handled a lot of cats. They do not like strange places or things. You will have a problem. Wish I could help, but that is there way.
