Does she resent him for some reason? this is tricky, as there is no additional information. just sit with them and talk, ask what these issues are with eachother, work out together what you can do to make things better. trails	Posted Mar 30th, 2009 at 8:21PM I truly believe the father and daughter need to expcept each other for the two they are.For him to take an interest in some of the things she likes.I do believe the parents should make the first move in letting the daughter know she are loved, without question,letting the daughter know how proud the father is of her.Once she an assurance of her fathers exceptance twards her, then can they really respect each other.and at that point they can have a beautiful bond for life Rated: +1Vote for this!

Personally speaking, when I attended a family member's funeral, it really shook sense into me. My dad and I are great now, but you can't wait for someone to pass away to fix things, right? She needs to understand that at ANY moment you may not be in her life. Rated: +1Vote for this!
