... without looking too eager, how do I get a second date happening? Call? Text?

    Reply back to him ONCE that you accept and are willing forward to seeing him. Then don't make any contact yourself before the date. Let him. Don't be too anxious or too eager, he will think you are desperate and needy. Just be yourself and try to relax. Ask him general questions, nothing too personal, express an interest in something that you enjoy.
