why bother unless u want to try to rebuild the friendship whats the point

Why would you do that? OCD is not something that he/she can really help. Is he/she getting help? Are they aware of their disorder? That's the only way I'd tell them, is if you are aware and they aren't. But if they know, then it may just add depression to the already frustrating disorder that your friend is dealing with.
