Medication can help with those symptoms, but you'll have to get them on prescription I think.

As I recall, medication is effective in 70% of cases, though I may have remembered that incorrectly.

The negative symptoms of schizophrenia can be addressed with medication.

In order to "overcome" one must have enough insight to go to a doctor.

Schizophrenia and bipolar disorders are neurological disease/disorders and must be addressed by a medical professional - it's not something you can just "get over".

I have bi polar. There is no cure. The only way I know to cope with it is a good doctor and proper medication. Please don't let it take 12 trips to the mental hospital to figure this out like it did with me.
