i think far too many people are way too judgemental. people just assume they have the "right answer" when they have no idea at all what a person has gone through.

it's something i really dislike. i do my very best not to judge people and i always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. if i haven't gone through an experience that you have it makes absolutely no sense for me to judge you or tell you to "get over it", something i've been told many times by people that have no clue at all.

my typical response is to simply be supportive and offer any assistance i can. i try to live my life and treat people as though i were in their shoes and as though i'd want to be treated.

    take care, be well...

not a problem at all. i can certainly relate. and i'm a no bullshit type of person and i try to make it a point to treat anyone i communicate with on the internet as though they were sitting right next to me. many people forget there are real human beings on the other end of the screen. i'm still waiting for the internet 2.0 where people treat each other with respect and courtesy. be well... benjamin

Dealing with traumatic experiences is always difficult. Anyone who has ever dealt with trauma and has any self awareness knows this. And the reason why people with no clue say inane things like " just get over it" or "just move on" is precisely because they are clueless
