How to say to Dad (who you dont get on with) that you love him?

You may not get on but if you say " i love you Dad" he will melt, as no matter what happens dads still love their kids and to hear it said may break the ice between you both.
Sometimes we don`t say i love you enough to loved ones, and if we did maybe our relationships would be better.
Because after they are gone it is to late to tell them then.

be honest....and remember that he is just your dad...not some scary monster that will crush you at the slightest sign of love.....good luck... :)

Ironically my son did it through myspace.. he wrote a letter to his dad in a blog expressing his love and missing him. I think that my son saw it as a way to test his dad too. If his dad cared enough to read the blog then he would get the message, if not then I guess he didnt deserve to hear it
