I never had a life of my own because I had to take care of my disabled mother. Now that she's dead, I'm trying to start living, but I feel so far behind everyone else I find I'm always in a hurry to do things, like I need to catch up to where I'm supposed to be. It makes it hard to enjoy life and comes off as desperate and needy. Yet I can't seem to get rid of the feeling that I'm running out of time and need to hurry.
