I'm not being facetious. Does he put up with you when you are irritable and think it's cute? Does he overlook your faults? Does he make sacrifices for his own pleasure to ensure you get yours?
I think these are good signs of really being 'in love' with someone. Some relationships, couples love each other but it isn't quite the same.Like (3)

Love is a strong word. It implies knowing someone completely and still accepting them. It implies wanting to constantly know more about them, and to do the best you can for them- they make you want to be a better person. But all of that stuff may just be in his heart, a guy may not have an easy time showing it. If he says it and he does show it through being good and kind to you, through being supportive and there for you, and it will be in his smile. It will be in his eyes.
