The shifts are usually not too long, maybe 6 hours. You often work 5 or 6 days a week. Sometimes you work evenings, sometimes days, usually weekends. You want to work weekends and evenings, actually, since that is often where you make more money.<br />

If you are kind and friendly, if you are organized, if you can stay friendly even when you are very busy, and if you want to make WAY more than minimum wage, waitressing is good.
