Then you don't give him money again.
Next time he wants money, tell him he can give you collateral that's worth the amount first.
Or tell him to go to hell.
    ...Actions have consequences.

If you are against him using your mony for weed, when he askes for money for something importent, tell him to tell you what it is and you will take care of it. like if it is a bill you will pay it or write a check made out to who is getting the money. If he wont tell you. Probably not that importante.

Not a problem. As others have said, though, that would be the last time I ever lent him money for anything. Ever.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

So, perhaps he wasn't lying to you, just not telling you what the important thing was.

How old is your brother...? It sounds like he is just "getting into" using drugs o_O
Make it very clear that regardless of his drug use, lying about anything, especially to get money under the pretense that you are helping him with something important.

Well, to get serious about this....next time he needs money for something important, let him know that you know that he bought weed with it last time, and tell him you will take him to buy whatever it is that is so important, or you will pay that overdue bill. If you feel he can't be trusted with the cash, stop handing it over, and just help him with the legitimate needs.
