Resolved Question

How would you feel? (Women)?

(Even though I don't wear them myself)

How would you feel if you found-out that a guy was wearing the special "high-heeled" shoes you can get for men, to make themselves taller?

If your reaction would be along the lines of being "deceived", then I would ask you if you wear high-heels and what you think the difference was.

as a man maybe I shouldn't answer but it seems to me every time a women puts on makeup it's to make herself look better than she does... isn't it fair for men to play the same games?

What is the difference between a man wearing special shoes with a lift and a woman wearing high heels? Well, a womans heels are there for the world to see - noting is hidden. A mans heels or lifts are placed inside the shoe so no-one will see. Having said that I personally would have no issue with it - although I do agree with RedWireNut that it may point to some self esteem issues.

I would guess the guy had some self esteem problems. That could be a much bigger issue than discovering he's an inch shorter than you thought

Wouldn't bother me at all. :)

So what if my boyfriend wants to wear lifts? All I'd think was: "Yay! When we go out together he looks taller!" :D I don't care if I know that it's a bit fake - isn't it all about making the other ladies jealous? ;D

I keep asking my fella to wear my heels cos I'm nearly as tall as him so I don't have a problem with them in or out of the bedroom ;-)

I think I go along with Katsuragi, we all need something to improve ourselves.

Nothing wrong with that, and a pair of rolled up socks down the pants!

well flugeblues the difference is that:
women's high heels where created to make people think a woman's legs were more toned and she had a more attractive *** then she really does.. not to enhance their height as so many do now. thing's that can actually be changed through exercise..
your height can't.

just go for short girls dude..

You seem to have had a rather unpleasant experience regarding your height.

Personally I wouldn't mind at all whether my partner wore elevator shoes or not -- it's a non-issue. I'd be more concerned if his shoes didn't suit him or if he tried to wear MY shoes. :D

Does it mean I could date a guy shorter then me and not have him be all pissy when I wear heels?

If so, I'd be happy about it.

I do not see the deception...men like women want to feel good about themselves.
