Our national debt is almost to the point that it's non serviceable.

Have you ever heard of the North American Partnership for Prosperity? The powers that be want to scrap the dollar for the Amero. There is a lot of heavy reading, but if you want to know more go to www.spp.gov

It never once occured to me that this would happen- not even once! It is amazing what we actually take for granted when we think about it eh- and scarey too! This is an absolutely terrifying prospect- and now that you have brought it up it is an alarming real possibility.

The national debt as a percentage of GDP has been higher at other points in history.

As long as we don't have to start using chariot wheels as currency. I don't think my back could take it.

Well I personally would be relieved, since I don't have too many dollars! I heard the amero was part of Canada, Mexico, and the US all being one country...which is supposed to be a signal of the END OF THE WORLD. muahhahahaha

Hmmmm - an oxymoron if I ever saw one. The governement is the same as our currency. The dollar is recognized all over the world. Our currency is us.
