If I were God? I'd give everyone free will for them to do as they will. That way my hands are washed of responsibility. Between this and 'the lord works in mysterious ways'...I'd get all the praise and none of the blame.

Are you just talking about 7 billion people on earth? or does that include other planets and creatures?

i make people happy by buying them sex toys as gifts. i can't make people happy but giving them something that makes them *** always makes it better.

Given that the words "everyone" and "happy" are subjective,it would be impossible. Moreover, the former requires quantification, and the latter, qualification.

i wouldn't. there is always going to be a difference in opinions and how people see the world and what they desire, you can never make EVERYONE happy because of these opposites conflicting each other

I'm sure if there was no more sadness, we'd all break down and cry.

The thing is you can't make everyone happy. I can only please one person a day and today ain't your day..lol i try to live by this. Its more realistic.

It's pretty much impossible. The better idea is to stay true to yourself and not worry about other people so much.

In my experience, trying to make everyone happy never works. You always end up starting off trying to keep one person happy, then another with different and usually conflicting views/beliefs/values comes along and insists that you must bow to their ways to make them happy. Next thing you know, you have a handful of individuals on your hands, all whom expect something different, or expecting something from you within the same time frame, or some other ridiculous conflict of interest, only to wind up with at least half of them totally pissed at you openly, even more pissed without really telling the truth, and maybe a handful who really are happy with things as they are.

So what I'm getting at here, is it's better to respect someone elses views and agree to disagree and deal with it rather than try to be a "people pleaser". To me, being a people pleaser is inhuman and unhealthy, and it can really warp you if you are not careful.

I do not and will not try to make everyone happy. That's their own responsibility. How dysfunctionally codependent.

In reality you can't please everyone but you can make the effort to be a possitive influence in other peoples lives.
Blessings!!!!

it doesn't work. no one thinks you're genuine.

people do seem to like it when i compliment them, though.

I would have to start by making myself happy first. If I am not happy, then I couldn't even begin to trying to make someone else happy.

I would never try because it is futile, can't be done.

You must first start by making YOURSELF happy, and with that comes the realization that you can't please everyone.

I don't. I have to put forth great effort just to keep myself happy. Others are on their own.
