Will never happen. The government is raking in over a 3000% profit alone from cigarettes.
Think there's any correlation as to why mariuanna is beginning to be legalized?
Shut your mouth...lol...I'm having withdrawals thinking about it...
Works for me, as I don't smoke, and I hate the smell.
I would wonder how it would affect certain things...like all the taxes that would be lost. And how many people would start smoking on the sly or suffer some pretty major withdrawals. There would be a lot of grumpy people. lol
do the dance of joy
I would be happy. I'm kind of tired of walking around campus having to inhale cigarette smoke because people are inconsiderate.
Cigarettes should be banned along with alcohol. I can understand a society that wants to take drugs, but there are better ones out there that should not be criminalised. Cigarettes and alcohol do NOTHING for you.
thank you thank you thank you
even though it will not bring back the people that i love.
nicotine addiction KILLS ...... yes
but before it kills... it corrupts, defiles and destroys.
respect, from robbie
It wouldn't work and just become an underground/black market like alcohol did during Prohibition. If people want something, they will find a way to get it, legal or not.
I would feel bad for the farmers who harvest tobaccos.. But, at the same time, happy! Less people will have lung diseases. Thus, less lives will be wasted.
The same i react to the ban of marihuana. I'll say "F-UCK THE GOVERNMENTS!"
That would be a relief for both active and passive smokers... I will feel very happy as I am unable to see two or three of my friends smoking in my class and they are putting their health in danger
I'd be pissed that I'd have to smoke bootleg cigarettes made by who knows who ffrom who knows what. But I'd try to think positively and consider the financial opportunities. How do I go about investing in the Mafia?
It would be tough but how knows maybe for good.
nothing, I don't smoke
I would send a hallmark thanking Congress and the president.
I would be happy, no more if I am going to quit or if I am going to fail at quitting. One lady who was a cashier lol she knew I was trying to quit. I brought a pack of cig and she said "I thought you quit?" "I said grabbing the pack angrily, "I did quit!", she said "oh, you quit quitting huh" with laughter lol
im not a smoker but id feel bad for ppl who do
Well, the black market would go nuts, the mafia would be happy.
I wouldn't mind because there would be fewer smokers of course.
Cigarettes kill more people every day than heroin does in a year. Alcohol, too. But cigarettes and alcohol are legal.
It should all be legal, but not in public. And Obamacare should exclude smokers, alcoholics, drug addicts, and the obese unless the agree to get clean and healthy.
There is no point in making things people do illegal, like Prohibition, and pot and prostitution. Better to acknowledge it and treat it as a problem, a disease, and not a crime.
