    they are kind of a selfish treat, its like deodorant. The user can barely smell themself, its to appease those around 'em

    Ask them what they have been eating as their breath smells bad or ask them if they have indigestion...i have not much tact....but i try. Talk about tooth paste or bad teeth oh i dunno!

    No getting around it.. Just tell the person that their breath stinks... At least the person cannot say you were not straight and to the point..

    I really don't think there is a polite way to do that. Unless you make a point of popping a mint in your own mouth and then offereing them one.
