I am confused?

Why is it that when a female has issues then she is called crazy and psycho by males, but when a males are in the same position the males call it "Rideing a roller coaster?" Hmm.....sound sexist to me. What do you ladies think?

I hate it too, I know I'm male, but it's no excuse.

I have actually only ever heard the term emotional rollercoaster used when referring specifically to women.

I agree that such sexiest statements and attitudes by the medical profession are far too common. But the same does happen with men.

I have a chronic health problem that statistically only ~2-8% of those who have it are men. As a result I've been accused of everything from being wacko to malingering. With VERY little support from men or women in or out of the medical community. (And I've heard the same from other men in my situation.)

The attitudes and behaviors are simply wrong and narrow minded. And sadly far too common -- opening up a whole other issue when in comes to 'reforming' the health care system.
