the way the world going [patreiot]
if it's going to be used in the future, say to impress someone, try challenging subjects such as the folds of a cloth draped over something or anything with detail. If for fun, it's still good to .try drawing what you see. Copying (not tracing) other pictures or photos also makes a good collection. You didn't say how old you are. If you want to, you can draw what you like and what's fun for you - If you can use the internet, look up art by your age group and get ideas there. Happy drawing!
What are you good at...?
1. Confidence is good. It's over half the battle.
2. "Everything" doesn't narrow down to what you KNOW you are good at, and what you can do if you put your mind to it. Artists tend to have a natural knack for SOMETHING. Some folks, really good at still life, others landscapes, some folks can get animals, while others are great at portraits. With this in mind, if I asked to see a portfolio not based on your range, but a selection of your BEST pieces, what would I be mostly seeing...?
well you should draw about your best memories with your friends and family or be surreal. You can draw random and unique drawings and they still be considered as art.
Memories or unrealistic things
Christmas trees with hidden pickles. You have to find the pickle, like finding Waldo.
