Depression is serious. If you feel like that for more than a week go see a Doctor.

    Hmm. Lights, music, ACTION. Lol.

Turn on lots of lights or get some sun.

    Play your favorite music.

Accomplish something. Start as small as you have to. Just so you have SOMETHING to congratulate yourself for.

Once your energy level picks up a little do something to get your heart rate up. A brisk walk maybe.

Eat something yummy. Hang with some friends. Be nice to yourself.

    That's it. That's all I got. Lol. ;)

Exercise has a better result than antidepressant drugs and doesn't kill your libido.

    Walk.

And get outside to avoid seasonal affective disorder (SAD), also known as winter depression, winter blues, summer depression, summer blues, or seasonal depression. SAD is a mood disorder in which people who have normal mental health throughout most of the year experience depressive symptoms in the winter or summer, spring or autumn year after year.

It's ok, go out and take a walk outside and look at the beautiful things around you... I know you will see bad things but just concentrate at the nice things, birds singing, little kids running, smiling people...

I work out, meditate, write about how I feel, find friends to hang out with, call someone I haven't talked to in a long time, go somewhere I've never been before, watch a favorite movie, take a nice hot bath, treat myself to new clothes/cds/dvds etc. I pet kitties, I clean my house, do the laundry. Basically anything healthy, fun or good for you might help.
