I am going to become a vegetarian, because the red meat hurts my stomach. Any meal ideas?

I would like a shopping list of some sort or a meal that you have created before that a vegetarian can eat.

Try cutting out red meat and eat everything else, including fish, chicken and pork.

easy as 1, 2, 3 cans..... 1 can black beans, 1 can whole kernel corn, 1 can chopped tomatoes.... Empty entire contents of all 3 cans into a pot and heat it up! YUMMY! Serve with tortilla chips or over rice if desired, garnish with fresh avocado.

Depends on what you like. Tofu? I hate it but you might not. Veggies burgers, crumbles, etc. There's lots of stuff you can buy.

Tofu is another soy product, not fish

Tempeh is a good soy product you can fry for sandwiches and use whole wheat or flax bread. I use mustard for taste. You can make a cole slaw appetizer from carrots, cilantro and cabbage. No reason you can't have french fries with the tempeh sandwich, and any veggie you like [beets, corn, peas, etc], then yogurt for dessert. Bee pollen is a tasty addition or fruits like blueberries or strawberries. That's one meal...

Butternut squash bisque, French bread and kale salad with slivered almonds, dried blueberries and a balsamic vinaigrette.

I would say, just cut out red meat. I have to eat an "elimination diet", too. Mine is a little different.

My situation might be different. I have IBS, so I have to avoid certain triggers. But I used to be a semi-vegetarian. That's just cutting out red meat. I still ate poultry and fish.

Everything. Cooking without meat is a lot more diverse and creative than with it. You really can just pick up a cookbook and eliminate the meat products or find substitutes, either in vegetable form or in fake meat form.
