I have never tried it but I don't see why they can't make a decent chili...just rinse off some of the "sauce" if you are concerned with the sugar or flavor of it. good luck
Please, don't use beans in chili.
You can use any kind of bean for that. Use the type with the flavor you like the most.
I used baked beans one time and it ruined my chilli, that is my opinion.
