I am trying to search for a sister that was adopted out, how should I go about it? Any suggestions?

I'd call "The Locator". I've been watching it on television and I think that's what I'd do first thing if it were me.

what country are you from as it depends on the laws and legislation of that country......tell me a bit more and I might be able to suggest some options......I was adopted and I traced my bio mother.....big mistake in my case...

are u in Canada or the US..i found my birth parents through the Adoption Disclosure Service..but this is something specific to the province i live in..which is Ontario..have u tried the internet? obviously you have access to a computer if your on this site..punch in 'adoption' and that should give you some place to start..Good luck

I don't know, but, I am interested in the answers...I have lost a neice to adoption. My sister happenned to know what her adopted name was, so, I sort of found her & so did my sister. No one has ever made contact. amazingly enough she is now 40.
