My question was asked in response to someone who posted that they were a gay christian. So the book is the key subject of this discussion. sorry if you misunderstood me.

Being a christian can mean many different things to different people. Not everyone follows christianity by the book

Wow. you must be another person who was brain washed by the book. what kind of being would god/jesus be if they descriminated against gays and lesbians? a hypocrite a fake and someone who is not all that is good. if jesus accepts people for who they are then being gay or lesbian has nothing to do with it. nor does being christian. religion is so small religion is nothing. spirituality and believing in something does matter. why have titles of religion? its pointless. god is so much bigger than a bible. the bible is limited. god doesnt expect people to live by the book. life is more than that and im sure hed agree.

You can know for sure for yourself. Just with honesty and sincerity ask God to reveal truth to you and if your really truthful (He knows) he will open your eyes and allow you to understand His word.I dont have nothing but sincere for all people. I love enough to speak truth even at the risk of being misunderstood. Thank you for sharing

Who cares what the Romans say. I'm not really religious but even if being gay was a sin, didn't Jesus die on the cross for our sins?

Yes Jesus died for our sins all sin. But He also said in Romans 6: shall we continue in Sin that grace shall abound? God forbid. in other words we cant get forgiveness and then just keep on sinning thinking we are alright with God. Thank you for sharing

No, some things are more wrong then the others. Promising yourself to god and then cheating on him is certainly way more wrong then a love between two consenting adults (who are hopefully not related).I see more wrong in so-called-Christian haters.

Someone saying they are gay doesn't necessarily mean they are sexually active. They just know they are attracted to the same sex. Just as a straight man thinks about sex with another woman while he/she is married. Love the sinner, hate the sin. You can be whatever but as long as you don't act on that sin, you can still be Christian.
