Some feelings are fleeting and can change but real, deep, to-the-core ones never fade. It's like you said, they just get buried and you learn to ignore them

Feelings change. You believe what you do because you're still young and there's nothing wrong with that. Me and my first love still talk occasionally, but it's definitely not the same emotionally. She's now married and pregnant actually.

Sometimes.... but I think most die... you wait and see.... as you age and run into people .... see how time has been so unkind to them... because they didn't give a crap and lived like crap.... its kind of hard to still have feelings... more like a... whew... thank god I wasn't around for that...

My feelings from past relationships and love have changed but have never gone away. How they will come out months, years down the road is different for everyone. Some I am able to just laugh and not care who they are with/hooking up with and others it still hits and hurts me.

I still have love for my first wife even though we have been divorced for over 25 years and we had a bitter divorce.
