the bankers made a lot of bad bets, they got the governments to bail them out, which makes it possible for the future one world government to bail them all out for transfers of power.

It's a good justification for raising taxes and robbing us blind.

It's what you get when you play with Monopoly Money. You know it's not real, but it sure feels real when you're spending it, especially buying five houses and trading to a hotel and placing them on Boardwalk and Park Place.

Isn't odd to hear about an entire country becoming bankrupt. How does that work? If you have people working their socks off, building the nation's economy...but the country has no money to spend on itself...??
And if you read that other countries are not that much better off - and therefore may not be able to help.....who has all the money then? Money doesn't just disappear does it? -
I think media shares equal blame here. All news channels, comedy shows and everyone's mother on TV is talking about the economic crisis and spreading rumors, which causes panic and leads us to make stupid impulse decisions, making a bad situation worse.
