When dieting properly you dont get headaches, sounds to me like your under eating wich causes a drop in blood sugar in turn makes you grumpy, light headed and you could faint so always remember to feed a diet. /To explain your metalobolism is like a steam train, keep putting in good food to keep it going but not putting enough food in it will slow right down/. Keep to a fat free low fat diet, loads of fruit veg, limit bread but the best way is to join a slimming club its the best way to get food education cause theres so much you can eat but staying away from fast food and dairy may not be the only thing thats keeping you heavy, slim classes offer support, so its well worth a £5 a week.....good luck.x

Drink a cup of water before every meal - sometimes your hunger is just thirst. Have vegetables in every meal, or at least every big meal. Make vegetables tasty by adding spices. Spices: salt, pepper, lemon pepper, paprika, basil, cumin, whatever you wanna try. Feel free to add butter while the vegetables are cooking - butter has a bad rep, but what people commonly don't know is that it helps break down OTHER fat in your body. :) Snack on fruits. I like apples and peanut butter. You can also snack on baby carrots with Laughing Cow cheese, or apple sauce with bananas and cinnamon in it. Eating lots of vegetables and fruits means you cut down on calories, and you still get lots of nutrients, too. Make sure you have some protein with your vegetables, like either meat (ex. ground beef) or beans. Protein helps you get full. Also, very important... be aware of how hungry you are with each spoonful (so, don't eat fast) and STOP eating when you are no longer hungry. DON'T eat because of emotional reasons - out of sadness or boredom or stress. Don't keep eating just because you are watching TV or eating with other people. The most important thing is YOUR physiological hunger cues. Er, I'm sorry this is a lot to read. These are all things I've learned through practice and reading - about intuitive eating and nutrition - and this all works very well for me. My body is happy and a healthy weight.

Fruits(apples, bananas, strawberries, etc.), small bowl of cheerios perhaps or a bowl of oatmeal(it'll keep you full for awhile). Drink lots of water too, it'll fill you up.
