I guess it wouldn't be celebrating Christ's ascension, but I have a feeling He wouldn't mind if you enjoyed yourself hunting eggs and eating chocolates!

All holidays (or "holy days") are man made. While some people give them religious meanings, none were ordained by God (at least not the ones we have today). Enjoy the egg hunt (try hiding them in holes or under low branches).

I think passover is the exception. Check Exodus 12:14.Like (1)

We (all people) don't celebrate Passover. That was for the Jewish nation. In the Christian era, Christ is our "Passover"Like (1)

No, that **** really doesn't have anything to do with either of those characters anyway.

No. It's a perfectly legitimate pagan holiday. The Christian Easter should actually be in the winter. If the Christians were authentic about it, Christmas would be Easter time.

Go for it, I don't know where the Rabbit came into Easter but it has nothing to do with Jesus.

The only thing wrong would be picking up 'brown' eggs during your hunt.....stay away from round brown things in the grass!

What does hunting eggs have to do with Jesus and God?

God enjoys celebrations - go for it.
But do you know that doubt is faith... its the mustard seed. By saying you dont really believe in it, you leave that margin for error. By wondering if it is wrong, you choose not to offend. God takes the small seeds of faith into consideration. ;)Like (1)

it is not wrong, have fun with the treats and games, but if I may, it could be a benefit to you to read the book of John, start at chapter 20 verse 1.

oh come on...easter means chocolate and i'm pretty sure Jesus would have loved it :)
also, easter is techically a paganic celebration (and it was celebrated by eating eggs and other "round" foods to symbolise the sun)Like (1)

Easter was a festival of the fertility goddess, Ēostre, long before the Christians came on the scene. . . A time to celebrate spring and the rebirth of life, and pleasure, and (pardon the phrase) to **** like rabbits.

No. For you it would be a celebration of fertility and spring like it was originally.**To be more specific , it was the resurrection of the god Tammuz. "Ishtar", which is pronounced "Easter" was a day that commemorated the resurrection of one of their gods that they called "Tammuz", who was believed to be the only begotten son of the moon-goddess and the sun-god.
