I used to think like you. I watched all the people around me smoking, drinking, drugs, sex etc and I wondered why I couldn’t just bring myself to do those things. I wondered why everyone else should have all the ‘fun’ and I just felt guilty at the thought of it. I thought I just must be too chicken. Now, I see those same people with broken lives, full of regret, telling me “I wish I had been more like you” wishing their life had turned out differently, but unable to go back and choose differently. Hold strong to your values!!! You can’t see the outcome yet, but I promise you – If you will choose to avoid these things now, you will have a much MUCH happier life. Believe me, I know it’s difficult to be strong, I know sometimes you’re exhausted and just want to ‘relax’ and do what everyone else is doing, but don’t fall for that flawed idea. You are strong – you can endure – the payoff will be worth it!!!

juar because you do not do wither, it does not make any less of a person....good you do not smoke, it is unhealthy!
like the above comment...do not give into peer preasure!! in the end you will twice as unhappy!! be you!! if people cannot accept you for you...then they are not real friends....real friends will accept you for you, and it will not matter if you do not smoke or drink...and they will not bug you about it either, they will be by your side and be your friend :)

This just makes you more sensible than many people. That's a good thing isn't it?
