Yes ma'am, I couldn't agree with you more. Even as a child (7, 8, 9 yrs old) I didn't like to take the time to eat. I wanted to keep playing. I even said why can't they make pills to take so we don't have to eat. I still feel this way almost 40 yrs later. I know there is a lot of great food out there and I've been fortunate enough to eat it, but food isn't all that important to me. It's just fuel for my body. My life doesn't revolve around food at all. Many days I realize around 4 or 5 in the afternoon that I've not had anything at all to eat yet that day.

I think this is one of those ambiguous sayings that don't make a lot of sense when you really stop and break it down. But I have thought of this before. I can eat a full meal of foods that I don't like, and still be starving; I HAVE to enjoy the nutrition I intake or I'm always hungry. I guess this probably means I live to eat, but that's where the saying gets wonky to me. I'm not gluttonous not obese, but I definitely think that if I had to live off the protein snot diet from The Matrix, I may be physically sustained, but I'll always feel hollow and a little dead inside.
