I used to be customer service, and I found that, if anyone answers no to this question, they are lying.

No point they are employees and not the ones responsible for your frustration... they get paid to help you outm, deflect your anger from those you should be angry at.... you should feel bad for the crap you gave someone who is on a low or average wage.... shame on you boo, hiss, boo

There was huffiness in my behaviour but it wasn't shouting and screaming. I work 13 hour shifts on the lowest wage myself.

You are aware that the tellers in the bank may not know there's a problem with the ATM, much less how to fix it, right? Being rude to people who can't help you doesn't make much sense. So it takes a few more minutes of your time-- what's the big deal?

Yeah, but no one deserves to be on the receiving end of an irrational meltdown. Think of how you'd feel if someone did that to you. Everyone deserves common courtesy. Besides, when you're nice, people automatically want to help you.

Whatever the issue is, I think its better to be nice and polite in telling your issue to the customer service. Bear in mind that they are people on job and under stress constantly by monitoring situations 8 hours a day for their job. I have never been rude to customer service because Its abit ridiculous getting heated up for a faulty cash machine..Flaws are everywhere..World is already an impolite place..why dont u start changing things with a smile and friendliness?..it applies to everyone..not only your friends or people you may know..

I am known for being very polite and pleasant as a person. I ended up missing my bus to college due to the situation, so yes I was annoyed and acted in a way I wouldn't normally.

That machine is always playing up, it's not the first time it happened. I wish there was a more long term solution.

No, but I am often rude to customer disservice. Actually, come to think of it, I never even contacted customer service, just people calling themselves that while being customer disservice...

Yes its like an uncontrollable urge when service is bad or when you've waited in line 15 mins and get to teller and she tells u the machine is down. Which just happened to me few weeks ago. Gets me hot. When I'm in a service position I am courteous and polite. I'm noticing everywhere people don't value service anymore they act like they don't care
