I got my computer fixed at a store and I keep getting messages that Windows is counterfeit what should i do?
A little message keeps popping up saying that Windows on my computer is not legitimate, this never happened until i got it fixed at a computer repair place- what should i do?

call and ask the store for the Key a set of numbers you can use to register your windows operating system . I'll bet they loaded a boot leg copy , I hope you didn't pay a lot for the repair .

Go back to the repair place and ask them to explain if not satisfied with answer turn to violence.

Go back to the repair place and ask(tell) them to fix it. If they won't do it, sue them in Small Claims Court (no attorneys involved there) for both the cost of installing a new Windows program and the cost of the 'repair'.

Go to the Window's store and ask or call them. I have a Mac, so I couldn't help you there.

Contact somebody who knows a lot about computers. I got the same message on mine, did a few simple procedures, that were recommended, it's OK now. Forgot exactly what I did.
