Confidence is key. Even if you don't have a lot of experience in the area it's ok to upsell yourself with what makes you YOU (professional, caring, hardworking) also, bring a copy of your resume and even a copy of a cover letter (cover letter might sound like it's a bit much but that effort will make you stand out) emphasize that you are flexible and can cover for your co workers and don't mind doing so. And make sure you know as much about the company and position as you can find out. Employers are usually really impressed by that. Remember they are just people like you so be comfortable. Good luck!

Where a skirt, heels jacket and makeup. How you look is important, as they will judge you on appearance more than anything else.

If you haven't researched the company in order to find out their view, then arrive early and talk to the receptionist about the company, job expectations. "How do you like working here?", "does the company participate in any community events? Etc.

Make sure you're on time and by that I mean 10-15 min early.
Have you done your research on the company?
Hopefully you have, so that you can frame your answers in the context of their operations.
Watch your body language, don't fold your arms across your chest, keep your hands away from your mouth, and face, make eye contact, and smile politely. You can mask your nervousness if you appear to be relaxed, confident, open, and not defensive.
Talk about why you want the job. By this I don't mean beg. What about this job and the company interests you? If you talk about these things you will talk with more passion, which comes across as motivated.
If you are being interviewed by more than one person be aware that someone is going to play the role of hard ***. Don't challenge them but don't back down, respond politely, engage them ask them to clarify something so that you can show them you know what your talking about.
Admit your faults in a clever way. They almost always ask the cliché question "What is your greatest weakness" I answer with something like chocolate donuts, or ice cream… get the idea. and then something that relates to the job.
Above all be yourself even if you think you are quirky or _____.
