    My best friend was an incredible man. He knew me inside and out for 30 years. He'd be the one to text me out of the blue and ask "what's wrong?" before I'd even say something to him. He just knew. I could talk to him about anything and everything without judgement. He and I were very committed to being lifetime friends. He recently took my deepest, darkest secrets to the grave. I don't think I will ever find a friend like that again.

    A best friend is someone that knows you and loves you anyway and would give up fun time to hold your hand when you are sick. They are rare and wonderful.
