Im not a doctor but I believe what you're suffering from is sleep apnea. if you stop breathing at times , I would go see a doctor just to do a standard check up. there's tons of different ways to cure/ease snoring,such as breathe right nose strips, acupuncture etc. I'm not sure what physical condition you're in but keeping yourself healthy will also help. good luck!

I have exactly the same problem, and am on the waiting list for a sleep test for sleep apnea.
If you're overweight, lose it. If you have allergies, you might have a chronically stuffy nose. Go see a doctor if you can. If not, read everything about it on the internet. Chronic sleep deprivation is bad bad bad. It might kill you in time.

it is like a gum shield!! you put it in at night it is a wee bit uncomfortable at first, but you get used of it!!
See the doctor you could be causeing major heart damage and could cause you to have a heart attack someday. There might not be anything wrong but they can do a sleep study and tell you and all you lost is a night sleep.
