I have two choices at work. help? My contract runs out at the end of the month.

1. I can leave entirely and get paid work elsewhere.
2. Paid part time and stay at this place on an unpaid basis until the end of the year.
I really love this school and I don't want to leave, but I got bills to pay and love ain't gonna pay for that. So. Logic vs what the heart says.

I'm sorry but you have to go where money calls. They are bleeding you dry already and now they want you as a slave?

Ask is there any chance of being kept on full time after the year, if theres no chance then leave. The shops ain't gonna give you free goods or credit on good intentions because you're basically doing charity work at a school.

There may be a full time post in Sept but I would have to apply like everyone else and if I leave from April until July it wouldn't affect my application. You're right, looks like I gotta bounce (for now)

Look for another job but in the meantime wow them, make sure they'll remember your name if a full time job does come up.

Not to be selfish, but #1 sounds more viable and you might love your new job.
