    No.. being "depressed and confused" is not normal.

    Being a bit worried might be normal, but that is not what you have stated.

    It's a difficult job market. Employers will understand if you don't find something right away.

    Yes, I think because finishing your degree was a huge hurdle and now instead of a recuperative stage you're back in the ring fighting for a job. Can you afford to take a 3 month break? You need to rest and recover.

    I have to start paying a student loan soon so cant really afford a break . the thing is the industry i work in is so crap, and i have a lot of experience as my degree is not only very academic but also very practical. I guess its just a generally confusing time in ones life.

    Yeah, of course. It would be odd if you weren't concerned about where your life is going to go now, you've spent all this time learning, now it's time to go out and do it. Head and be proactive.
