Everything that's thanksgiving...
I've eaten mexican food in mexico and ther is no such thing as hard shell tacos or tomato and lettuce inside your taco, and there are 1000 better things to eat in mexico than tacos.
I have eaten pizza in italy, and there is no such thing as toppings. It's just bread with olive oil, tomato, basil and maybe a little cheese. And it is waaaay tastier healthier than 2 pounds of bread with greasy meats on it.
I don't know why we take the best of the world cuisine and distort it in the most unhealthy ways, AND still trick ourselves into thinking we are so ethnic by eating it.

If that is true and South Africa import most of its food where is all the food coming from. And why is imported food cheaper than locally produced food.

Corn, potatoes, and tomatoes all came from "the new world," although the latter two are usually associated with european countries.

not sure if potatoes come from south or north america but it is quite important :)
Chocolate is south (inca?) but think you mean USA.

Doughnuts? According to wikipedia they come from holland but 'oliebollen' is something really different. They might be related but 'the doughnut as we know it' is in my eyes american (and am belgian so by nature I know all about food :P)

Pumpkin pie, no doubt there. Everything with a pumpkin is american...
Turkey for the same period might be logical that it came from Turkey (the country)... But the bird is american.

What we call a 'frisco' here (but it seems to be dialect and hard to find pics... strangely enough), basically an icecream popsicle... is from ... you guess... San Francisco. (apparently it is a nestle trademark so like most belgian chocolates... it is swiss), remember an article of 100 year aniversary and that stated san-fran but my google skills can't find it at the moment :(

Spam... while much is about russian brides, the version about meat is american :)

Tabasco... not my favorite but many people don't eat pasta without this 'born in the usa' product.

Sloppy Joes, no other country would want that on it's major achievements 8) (in my theory that bad looking food is the best, this must be excellent but only seen it in movies)... bad looking food ofcourse gives a link to...

Filet Americain but not related to americans. According to wiki you call it "raw dog", the amount of dog in it is the same as the amount of americans... (odd, we learned at school that no american would ever consider eating raw steak... oh no... they lied to us...)
